This summer in Bratislava will be full of great events! Lovers of good food, music, history and sports enthusiasts and all who are looking for a good time in the capital of Slovakia will have great options to choose from.
June 1st – 4th 2017, Bratislava castle
A traditional event this time with the theme "light and playful" will again take place in the beautiful surroundings of the Bratislava Castle gardens. Food and drink tastings, a live cooking show, competitions and a special Thursday Evening of Wine will fill great event program.
May 7th - September 3rd 2017, Devín castle
When visiting Devín castle every first Sunday from May to September, you will be enchanted by the bold knights and beautiful ladies from the past. You will experience the Knights' horseback tournament and discover fascinating Roman engineering devices. In craft stalls, you will admire the skills of the craft masters and the beauty of their products and refresh yourself with traditional delicacies. From the newly reconstructed upper part of the castle you can now admire spectacular views of the surrounding area.

This unique exhibition will present two overlapping lives - Maria Theresia's life, which began about three hundred years ago on May 13th, 1741, and life of the Pressburg city, 23 years after that day, to change significantly when this Habsburg woman was crowned " the King of Hungary ".

Enjoy fragrant lavender and a lot of beautiful lavender products from producers and growers not only from Slovakia in the city center on Obchodná Street during the third week of June as a pleasant summer event in Bratislava.
June 24th – 25th 2017, Bratislava city center
Experience the coronations of 18 kings and queens who were crowned in Bratislava. More than 200 actors in the costumes will perform the cemeronies in the streets of the city. The bishop of Ostrihom will first crown the king and then the king will appoint his knights. Crowned tokens will be thrown along the parade, wine will be flowing from the fountain free of charge, meat will be grilled and you can buy unique gifts and souvenirs at the fair.

Unique summer festival, which combines the best of classical music with top local & international performers and unique concert places in non-traditional contexts, is celebrating the 12th anniversary this year.
This concept enjoys great success, Viva Musica! The festival now the largest international summer music festival in Bratislava and its popularity is growing year after year. Selected concerts are free of charge.

For all the summer sports enthusiasts, a large summer party will be held in the area of water sports. For symbolic prices, you can try out a variety of activities, competitions, adventure sports, enjoy good music and experience a starry night full of fun. Activities are tailored so that everyone can try as many sports as possible.
Sports say kicks off with amateur rafting, volleyball and soccer tournaments early in the morning. In the evening, you can enjoy a bonfire, dancing and relax in the chillout zone.
