Traditional Christmas Markets are the perfect place to meet, visit, eat, drink and perhaps for a small purchase. Especially for the enjoyment of pre-Christmas moments. This year can be expected about 100 stalls with goodies of any kind.
Markets are organized by the city and are hosted at the Main Square, Hviezdoslav Square, Františkan Square, Primacial square, Old Townhall courtyard and the Square of Milan R. Štefánik which are located in the historical center of the city and are open most of the day and of course in the evenings.
24.11., 17.00 - Ceremonial Opening of Christmas Markets on the Main Square and lighting of the Christmas tree by the Mayor of the city (Performed by: VERTIGO acrobatic group, CreDance dance group, BANDA world music group)
VIANOČNÝ UNIKÁT (Attorney of St. John of Nepomuk in the Primacial palace) - 1 December 2017, 17:00 Lighting ceremony of decorated Christmas trees, opening of a unique Christmas forest. The decorations will be created and the trees will be decorated by the Bratislava Primary and Art schools. The most beautiful decorated tree will be rewarded by the Mayor of the city.
